Was wondering if your blog has been updated - and realised that I’ve not gotten your feeds! Are your feeds working? (Or is it just me?)
I share your pessimism too. No way will he be found innocent, because a soldier’s duty is to go where his superiors tell him to go, regardless of the cause or whether he believes it or not. That’s just how armies have been run for centuries, and if he is found innocent, it’ll set a precedent that the army wouldn’t want. An army is only effective if its grunts obey what the commanders say, right?
