What does basketball has to do with prayer?

My son is a natural at sports. When he was about five, I remember watching him on the basketball court. He had the moves, even then. Other kids on that court who were learning to play basketball like him, all were full of enthusiasm, but when they dribbled the ball, they would stand upright and hit the ball hard on the court, wait for it to bounce back up above their heads before hitting it hard again and then take a step forward, awkwardly. When my son did it, his bent was bent, he bounced the ball with one hand low on the ground, and with the other arm he used it to guard himself against his opponent. He looked sideways at his opponent, and then tried to fake a turn to sneak past his opponent, only to run into him dead center! Well, he had the right idea, but poor execution. When I saw that I smiled because I could see that he had the dexterity and the ability to play. (Later, he told me he saw Ricky Grace do what he tried to do). However, he is now a freshman at high school and he hasn’t touched a basketball in years.
He can still take up sports easily. I have seen him pick up volleyball, cricket and tennis. It comes easy with him. He is very well coordinated and has a sense of where to place his body to do the things athletes do with their bodies. Along the same vein, he has the dexterity and coordination with his body parts to play the guitar, the piano and the saxophone. He picked up these instruments quite easily.
