    How I spent New Year’s Eve 2005

    wp_logo.JPGWe decided to watch Oliver! but I had already watched it a couple of times, so I took the laptop out and half watched it and upgraded to WordPress 2.0 following the clear instructions provided by “Podz“.

    The backup took the longest time. It’s about time I do a backup since I moved my blog over to my new hosts. So, that took care of that. Then I deactivated all my plugins, downloaded WP 2.0 and uploaded the pertinent files. Finally I hit the Upgrade button, and re-activated the plugins and viola! …in the outer… is up and running with the new version!
