  • Commenting Policy on …in the outer…

    3rd November 2005

I often get onto other blogs and read of their guidelines for comments on those blogs. I understand that I have been amiss in this department. Which is why, of late, most readers and other visitors at my blog have failed to complied with the unwritten commenting policy at …in the outer…

They are very simple really, but like anything, we should not leave it to hit and miss and spell out the policies so that we both have complete understanding.

Therefore, I have decided to make my policies here very clear. There are only ten points to the commenting policy.

    Here they are:

    Comment policy

      1. Just comment.
      2. Please do.
      3. Go ahead. Just do it.
      4. Don’t be shy.
      5. Damn it, Comment!
      6. I mean, please!
      7. Now!
      8. GO. COMMENT. NOW!
      9. Please!
      10. {whine}Pretty Please? With a cherry on top? :)

Yes, I wish more people would comment… Perhaps I could edit my template to just display the headline, and not allow my visitors to read the content until they comment…

    2. Bonanza Jellybean Says:

      At last… guidelines I can follow. :)

You might want to add #11- “Don’t be a jerk.”

How can I resist such in-depth guidelines for commenting?

    4. Carol Says:

      Everybody loves a comment.

    5. Steve Bremner Says:

Well do unto others as they do unto you, right?

I’ve never seen someone ask for comments before, but I’ve stumbled across this blog a few times on blog explosion, and just now finally gave it a good read and like what I see so far.

      Keep up the good work.

      Steve

    6. funny quote Says:

It is hard to ignore your blog.
      Keep up the good work.

    7. Albert Says:

These prayers help me to keep God in my life, especially with the many distractions I encounter.
