    Blog Renovation

    2nd July 2005

Okay, this is now a little over three months after I have started using Wordpress for my blog. In the meantime, I have started a new job and life for me has been rather hectic. All in all, I am rather happy with Wordpress and what it can do.

However, I am not quite happy with the design of my blog and will spend this weekend doing some renovation. I don’t know how long this will take. It might take just this weekend, but I doubt it. It might be awhile before things are stabilized.

So if you are visiting during this weekend, you might see a lot of construction taking place here. What I crave is some feedback. If you have been here before and also been at my previous blog over at blogger, please drop me a note and let me know if you have any suggestions for improvement.

Update: Unless there is great objection from my readers, I think I will use the theme you now see on this page, a four-column design. When you click on the post title to read the individual post, it opens up to a three column design. I think it is neat. What do you think? Now, that I have decided on the theme, I can now work on moving the rest of the links and side bar content, etc. plus adopting and adapting this theme for my blog. That will probably take up the rest of this weekend, and then some…

Update 2: I updated to Wordpress 1.5.1.3 while I was at this. It was rather painless and fast, except that some of the stuff on my blog are broken at the moment, including access to individual posts! Please be patient while I enlist some help to get me sorted out! Yet another update: I think I have most of the problems sorted out now. So! Whadyathink?
