    2nd June 2005

There is a new phenomenon that is happening right now on BlogExplosion. Most of you have probably heard about it by now. But it is this thing called “Battle of the Blogs.”

    Malaysians “Seriously Blogging”

    2nd June 2005

I received a newsletter from an old friend of mine who is working among twenty- and thirty-something professionals in Malaysia who alerted me to a group blog where some of the “brightest minds” of young Christian Malaysian future leaders are doing some serious blogging.” (By the way, is there a difference between “seriously blogging” and “blogging seriously?”>

If you like folks like Sivin Kit, Messy Christian, IreneQ, you’d probably also like this group. Althought they seem to be a tad more reflective and serious in tone than the others I have mentioned, not that those I have mentioned don’t also delve into serious topics! :)

In any case, as a former Malaysian (all right, all right, “Once a Malaysian, always a Malaysian”), I am excited that there are younger folks in the Malaysian church who take their calling seriously and want to think through issues deeply. Check them out, encourage them and interact with them: http://theagora.blogspot.com/
