Guess Who I Had Lunch With Today?
1st June 2005
Blogging has its advantages. Through blogging, I have come to know many friends. No doubt some enemies as well, but hopefully not too many, for I am sure that the many contacts I have made and the many ideas exchanged through this medium have enriched me and in many ways helped me to think more clearly. I have also gotten to know many others and have shared in their journeys, and found that my own journey while unique, has many affinities and similarities with others, making me, well, less lonely.
Only a couple nights ago, I found out that DJ Chuang was in town. I shot him a quick e-mail and received a reply the next day. He called me this morning just after I had arrived at my office.
He had come up to the city of Cerritos, where my office is situated. We quckly made arrangements to meet up at noon, so off I went to meet up with him at the Architectural award winning and technologically advanced Cerritos Public Library and after a couple of mis-tries (I don’t know if DJ felt unsafe with my driving, but I warned him that I was the local loco driver who doesn’t know his way that most other drivers are worried about), I managed to get him to a nice little Korean BBQ-cum-Sushi Restaurant.
