Rethinking eating food offered to idols

One thing about blogging that I enjoy is the fact that you get feedback to your writing, sometimes almost instantly. It is most gratifying when you get thoughtful, reflective comments that make you sit up and think.
Recently, that was the case when a comment left by a commenter made me do a little more homework and think through what it is I was trying to say about one who can be both a Buddhist and a Christian at the same time.
It happened again with this piece I wrote about yoga and kung-fu and then my later piece on eating food offered to idols. While meditating on I Corinthians 8, I was left with a little ambivalence
