    That T-Shirt

    2nd January 2005

I first saw it here, referred from a post by Miss O’Hara, whom, by the way, I find funny, interesting and insightful most of the time.

Then, I saw it here along with what I can only describe as propagandist, inflamatory, insinuating conclusions that I believe is unsubstantiated (where are my meds, I am getting a tad over-dramatic here!). So, I got to ask:

"Did the guy wearing that T-Shirt go out of his way to buythat because he was a fan, or did he perhaps pick it up from some charity who gave it to him? Do we even know the answer? Should we jump to the conclusion that all these people are linked to the perpetrators of 9/11 just because of what any Law & Order aficionado might call ‘circumstancial evidence?’"

Even if these people were found to be sympathizers, isn’t there a Biblical principle about heaping coals of fire on our enemies’ heads by showering them with love, compassion and care? Or should we stand by and cry, "You deserve it, you snivelling Bin Laden sympathizers you!"

(I better watch it, or I will have to re-read my earlier post on "Be Ye Angry, And Sin Not!)
